15-Year-Old Girl and Two Cousins Tortured to Death in Gruesome, Livestreamed Killings

In a horrifying incident in Argentina, a teenage girl and her two female cousins were brutally murdered, with the gruesome act broadcast live on social media, according to local authorities. The mutilated bodies of 15-year-old Lara Morena Gutierrez, 20-year-old Brenda del Castillo, and 20-year-old Morena Verdi were discovered in a well behind a residence. The victims were reportedly enticed into a van under the pretense of attending a party.

Gutierrez suffered the amputation of five fingers on her left hand and one ear before her throat was slit, as per law enforcement sources. Del Castillo was repeatedly stabbed in the neck and punched in the face before a fatal blow was delivered to her face. Postmortem, her abdomen was slashed open. Verdi was assaulted in the face before her neck was snapped.

The horrific torture was livestreamed in a private group on social media, as stated by Buenos Aires Security Minister Javier Alonso. The victims are believed to have been slaughtered on the command of a Peruvian drug trafficker, who accused the three of pilfering a cache of cocaine.

In the video, a gang leader is heard stating, “This is what happens to those who steal drugs from me,” Alonso informed the media. Four individuals, including two women, have been apprehended for the murders, which occurred in a property referred to as the “House of Horrors” by Argentinian press in the town of Florencio Varela, approximately 16 miles south of Buenos Aires.

The bodies were found last Wednesday, five days after they disappeared on September 19, with authorities stating that the trio was killed on September 20. The brutal killings have ignited widespread protests throughout Argentina, with the victims’ relatives speaking at a march in Buenos Aires on Saturday.

“Women must be protected more than ever,” Leonel, del Castillo’s father, told reporters. He had previously stated that he was unable to identify his daughter’s body due to the severe abuse she had suffered. Antonio del Castillo, the grandfather of the two cousins, condemned the killers as “bloodthirsty” in an emotional interview, stating, “You wouldn’t do what they did to them to an animal.”

The identities of the four suspects have not been disclosed to the public. They are anticipated to be charged on Thursday.
