21-Year-Old Pregnant Woman Gunned Down in Robbery Attempt Gone Wrong

Genesis Escobar, a 21-year-old pregnant woman from Chicago, tragically died in a robbery attempt gone wrong in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood in Chicago on Monday afternoon.

Reports suggest that she had climbed into someone’s car and demanded money before the situation escalated and shots were fired from within and outside the car.

Escobar was hit multiple times and was thrown out of the car at an intersection, where her body was discovered with money covering her.

Those involved in the crime fled the scene.

Escobar had been eagerly looking forward to becoming a new mother, as relayed by friends.

As of right now, no arrests have been made. The investigation is still ongoing.
