3 Dead After Horrific Shooting and Police Standoff

FALLS TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Three people were shot and killed by a suspect in two neighborhoods in Falls Township on Saturday morning, according to local authorities. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Andre Gordon, was later apprehended in New Jersey after fleeing the scene.

The Falls Township Police reported that the first shooting occurred on Viewpoint Lane, where Gordon allegedly shot and killed two individuals before escaping in a stolen vehicle. Shortly after, he proceeded to a home on Edgewood Lane, where he shot and killed another victim. Among the deceased are Gordon’s sister, 13-year-old Kera Gordon, and his stepmom, 52-year-old Karen Gordon. Three individuals, including a minor, managed to hide and survive during the incident at the first home.

The second victim at the Edgewood Lane residence has been identified as Taylor Daniel, 25, who shares two children with the suspect. Four other people were present during the shooting, and the suspect allegedly assaulted Daniel’s mother with an assault rifle.

Following the shootings, Gordon carjacked a vehicle from a Dollar General store before abandoning it in New Jersey. Authorities received information that the suspect was barricaded with hostages at a residence on Phillips Street in Trenton, New Jersey. As a result, a shelter-in-place order was issued and law enforcement deployed a SWAT team to surround the house. The situation was resolved later in the day when Gordon was taken into custody in Trenton.

Authorities confirmed that Gordon was taken into custody in Trenton around 5 p.m. on Saturday, emphasizing that he will face charges in Bucks County at the appropriate time.
