3 Young Boys Found Fatally Shot in Yard

On Thursday, authorities reported a piece of tragic news from Ohio that three brothers, aged 3,4 and 7, were shot dead, and their mother was also injured. The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting occurred at a residence in Monroe Township.

It all began when a female caller called the police around 4:15 pm, screaming that her babies had been shot. Shortly after, a passerby driving on the road called 911 again, saying that a female juvenile was running down the road, screaming that her father was killing everyone.

The sheriff’s officers responding to the incident at Laurel Lindale Road found the boy’s father, Chad Doerman, 32 years old, sitting on the porch outside the house, where he was detained for questioning.

On the scene, the three boys were found in the yard with gunshot wounds. Efforts were made to save the boys, but they were pronounced dead at the scene. The boys’ 34-year-old mother, who was also outside, had been shot in the hand. It was while she was in the hospital that authorities revealed to her that her sons had passed away.

There were no indications of forced entry into the home, and no other suspects were being sought. In a statement, New Richmond Exempted Village School District Superintendent Tracey Miller expressed her sorrow, asking the community to pray for all affected by this tragedy. The tragic murders are still being investigated.
