4 Woman Dead After Tragic Shooting Incident

TINLEY PARK, Ill. – A tragic domestic incident unfolded on Sunday as a man allegedly shot and killed his wife and three daughters at their home in Tinley Park, a suburb in south suburban Illinois. The victims, identified as Majeda Kassem, 59, and her daughters Halema, Zahia, and Hanan Kassem, aged 25 and 24 respectively, were found dead inside the residence. The authorities were alerted to the situation when the husband and father of the victims made a 911 call.

Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene just before 11:30 a.m. and took the man into custody. While the suspect’s identity has not been disclosed, police confirmed that he is the alleged shooter. Village Manager Pat Carr assured that the incident was contained within the home and that there is no existing threat to the community.
