Abducted Woman’s Body Found in Charred Vehicle

Orlando, Florida – Authorities in Florida have discovered a body believed to be that of Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvias, a woman who was kidnapped in broad daylight. The remains were found in a burnt-out SUV in a rural area south of Orlando. While the condition of the body and vehicle prevented definitive confirmation of the identity, law enforcement officials believe the circumstances align with the details of the kidnapping.

The abduction was captured on video by a witness driving behind Guerrero De Aguasvias and a green Acura that had been following her. The Acura intentionally rammed into the back of Guerrero De Aguasvias’ Dodge Durango multiple times, prompting her to call her husband for help. Despite his advice to keep driving, Guerrero De Aguasvias found herself stopped at a traffic light.

In the video, a masked individual armed with a firearm is seen exiting the Acura and approaching Guerrero De Aguasvias’ vehicle. The assailant then gets into the backseat of her car, and the Durango speeds away from the intersection under the control of the kidnapper.

The burnt-out SUV was later discovered in a construction area, approximately 17 miles from where the abduction took place. The scene was strewn with shell casings matching the kidnapper’s 10mm handgun. While the evidence suggests a targeted attack, law enforcement authorities are still trying to determine the motive behind the crime.

Guerrero De Aguasvias and her husband, who are both immigrants from the Dominican Republic, have no criminal history in the United States. They were associated with two businesses in South Florida, a barbershop and a beauty salon. According to Guerrero De Aguasvias’ husband, she was traveling through Central Florida to visit family, though he did not provide any names or contact information. Local authorities have been unable to locate any family members in the area.

Sheriff Dennis Lemma called on the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information related to the abduction and murder. The two individuals involved in the crime are considered armed and dangerous, and Sheriff Lemma advised against direct confrontation with them. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
