Actress Tara Reid Hospitalized After Hotel Incident

Actress Tara Reid, known for her roles in “American Pie” and “Sharknado,” has alleged that she was drugged at a bar in a Chicago hotel. This claim comes after a video surfaced showing Reid being removed from the premises on a stretcher. In the footage, a group of individuals can be seen struggling to place a seemingly unconscious Reid into a wheelchair.

Reid, who was wearing a tan fur coat and appeared disheveled, was seen with her arm around a man, her face buried in his shoulder. Once she was placed in the wheelchair, Reid began to mumble incoherently, her head swaying loosely. As she was wheeled through the hotel lobby, her body went limp, causing her to fall halfway out of the chair. Several people had to assist in lifting Reid back into the wheelchair.

The video then transitions to a scene where paramedics are seen guiding Reid, who is now on a stretcher, through the hotel lobby. Reports indicate that she was transported to a nearby hospital. A representative for Reid released a statement saying that the actress has filed a police report, believing her drink was tampered with. She is said to be fully cooperating with the investigation.

The statement from Reid’s representative continued, “Tara is recovering and asks for privacy during this traumatic time. She also urges everyone to be careful, watch your drinks and never leave them unattended, as this can happen to anyone. She will not be making further comments at this stage.”

A spokesperson for Rosemont Police confirmed that they responded to an EMS call at the hotel on Sunday morning and that the patient was transported to the hospital. However, they have not received a report regarding Reid’s claims of being drugged.

Reid told TMZ that she had checked into her room late Saturday and went to the hotel bar for a drink. She encountered a group of YouTubers in the lobby during a smoke break, and one of them joined her. Upon returning to the bar, Reid noticed that her drink was covered with a napkin she did not place there. After consuming the drink, the next thing she remembered was waking up in the hospital.

Despite past struggles with substance abuse, Reid insisted that she only had one drink that night. She expressed her shock and fear, urging others to be vigilant about their drinks.
