The adult film industry is mourning the loss of one of its notable figures, Glenn Soukesian, better known by his stage name, Colton Ford. The 62-year-old was found dead following a mysterious hiking accident near Palm Springs, California, according to local law enforcement. Soukesian’s lifeless body was discovered on Monday evening on the Goat Trails, a well-known hiking area in the California desert oasis.
Soukesian, widely recognized as Ford, was reported missing by his friends when he failed to return from a hiking trip the day before. His body was found by the police on Monday. The cause of his death is still unknown, but the local coroner has ruled out the possibility of foul play, as stated by a representative from the Palm Springs Police Department.
Born in Pasadena, Ford entered the adult film industry later in life, starting his 22-year career at the age of 40. His tenure in the industry was marked by partnerships with several prominent studios, including MRS Releasing, RawF—kClub, All Worlds, Mustang, and Falcon Studios.
Tim Wood, a close friend of Ford, paid homage to him on Facebook, describing him as a “brilliant artist who always kept a song in his heart.” Wood further described Ford as sweet, funny, kind, sassy, and undeniably handsome.
Before his venture into the adult film industry, Ford had a successful career as a recording artist. He collaborated with MIDE Productions, a company owned by Denise Rich, and also had a contract with Virgin Records. His non-adult filmography includes roles in “Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild!” featuring RuPaul, and “Hellbent,” a thriller about a serial killer terrorizing a group of men in West Hollywood.
Ford’s last creative endeavor was his 2023 R&B and pop album titled “Permission.”
