Renowned German author Alexandra Fröhlich, known for her bestselling novels, was tragically killed in a violent assault on her houseboat residence, as per official reports. The 58-year-old author of “Skeletons in the Closet” was discovered early last Tuesday on her cerise houseboat, docked on the Holshafen bank of the Elbe River in Hamburg.

Fröhlich, a mother of three, was found by her son, according to authorities. The local murder squad is handling the case, and after assessing the evidence and traces at the scene, they have concluded that Fröhlich’s death was a result of violence, as stated by a police spokesperson.
