Las Vegas, NV – A tragic incident occurred in Las Vegas when the body of a 2-year-old boy was discovered in a dumpster, leading to the arrest of his mother, Diaja Smith. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the arrest following the shocking discovery made in the early morning hours of June 7. The toddler had been reported missing from his home more than four hours prior to the grim find.

The police revealed that the missing 2-year-old was located inside a garbage dumpster on Lewis Avenue at approximately 12:58 a.m. Medical professionals who responded to the scene declared the infant deceased.
