Pamela Bach, the former wife of “Baywatch” star David Hasselhoff, tragically passed away on March 5. The official cause of death, as stated on her death certificate, was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, ruling her death as a suicide. The certificate also revealed that Bach used a revolver and was later cremated.
Bach, who was 62 at the time of her death, had been out of contact with her family, causing them to grow concerned. Upon checking on her at her Los Angeles residence, her family discovered her body. Paramedics declared her dead at the scene. Bach reportedly did not leave a suicide note.
Bach and Hasselhoff were married from 1989 to 2006 and had two daughters together, Hayley Hasselhoff, 32, and Taylor Ann Hasselhoff, 34. Following Bach’s death, a neighbor claimed that Hayley was the family member who discovered her mother’s body, leading to a chaotic scene.
Hayley broke her silence about her mother’s suicide on March 14. In a heartfelt tribute, she expressed her grief and the struggle to find comfort after her mother’s passing. She also pledged to be strong and make her mother proud.
Taylor also shared a touching tribute to her late mother, promising to celebrate her every day and make her proud. She also assured her mother that her daughter, London, would know about her incredible grandmother and that she would always protect her sister, Hayley.
David Hasselhoff also released a statement following his ex-wife’s death, expressing his family’s deep sadness and gratitude for the outpouring of love and support. He also requested privacy as the family grieves and navigates through this challenging time.
Taylor has since filed to control her late mother’s estate, which is valued at $840,000. Bach had her own successful Hollywood career, having met Hasselhoff on the set of “Knight Rider” in 1985. She also starred alongside him in “Baywatch” during their marriage.
