Hamilton County, TN – In a shocking incident that unfolded in a Tennessee home, a father, Damian Grant Castings, was found with a open wound in his chest after being allegedly stabbed by his 20-year-old daughter, Ava Helene Castings. The Red Bank police arrested Ava Castings on May 9 on charges of attempted murder. Although specific details of the altercation between the father and daughter remained unclear, a police affidavit highlighted that the conflict began around 2:46 p.m. that afternoon.

When Hamilton County police arrived at the scene, they discovered a wounded Damian Grant Castings in his bedroom. According to the affidavit, he informed the police that his daughter became agitated when he refused to disclose the whereabouts of her child. Reporting the incident, Red Bank detective Derek McCoy confirmed that Ava Castings had brandished a knife during the argument and stabbed her father in the upper right chest, leaving him seriously injured.
