Fatal Shooting Unfolds in Popular Beach Town

Jacksonville Beach, Florida – Police are on the hunt for multiple suspects after a shooting incident in downtown Jacksonville Beach on Sunday night left one person dead and two others injured. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department responded to an “active shooter incident” and urged people to shelter in place while the situation was brought under control.

According to Sgt. Tonya Tator, the shooting took place in broad daylight. Three victims were shot and transported to a local hospital, where one victim was pronounced dead. The other two victims are currently in stable condition. Authorities are working to uncover more information about the suspects involved.
