Father Fatally Stabbed by Son

Austin, Texas – A gruesome scene unfolded on Windrift Way when Hayden Lerond, a 22-year-old resident of Texas, allegedly stabbed his father to death in a horrifying frenzy. The 51-year-old victim suffered multiple stab wounds, including a deep cut that punctured his jugular vein, leaving him lifeless. Police discovered the suspect by following a trail of bloody footprints, leading from the crime scene back to the Lerond home.

The incident occurred on July 1, prompting an immediate response from the Austin Police Department. Emergency medical services arrived at the scene, where they found Hayden Lerond inside the house with blood on his knees. He reportedly refused to provide any answers during questioning, leading investigators to detain him on suspicion of first-degree murder.
