Former Playboy Model Dies Suddenly at 46

Ariane Bellamar, a former Playboy model and reality TV star, died unexpectedly of a heart attack in Nevada in December 2024. She was 46. The news of her sudden passing was announced by her ex-husband, Tanner Slaught, on Bellamar’s Facebook page. Slaught expressed his profound shock and sorrow over the sudden loss and confirmed the cause of death.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office verified Bellamar’s death on December 20, attributing it to a heart attack. However, they did not provide any additional details. Bellamar’s untimely death has left her family and friends in a state of shock and financial hardship, as expressed by Slaught.

Slaught, who shares two daughters with Bellamar, described her death as an unexpected event that has imposed a significant financial burden on the family. To help alleviate some of the financial pressure, Slaught and Scott Shelly, another beneficiary, initiated a GoFundMe campaign in January to cover the costs of Bellamar’s funeral and transportation for family and friends.

Bellamar, a Florida native, relocated to Toronto, Canada, at a young age. She rose to fame as a model for Playboy, the company established by Hugh Hefner. However, her career spanned beyond modeling. Bellamar made appearances in several television shows and films, often portraying herself.

She is most recognized for her role in the reality TV show “Beverly Hills Nannies.” Bellamar also appeared in “The Millionaire Matchmaker” and “Gordon Ramsay’s Hotel Hell.” Her filmography includes uncredited roles in popular Hollywood films like “The Suicide Squad” and “The Hangover Part III.” She also had a minor role in HBO’s “Entourage.”

Bellamar made headlines during the #MeToo movement when she accused “Entourage” star Jeremy Piven of sexual harassment. Following her allegations, three more women came forward with similar accusations against Piven, who later denied the claims.
