Homeowner Shoots Intruder During Targeted Attack in Affluent Neighborhood

Newport Beach, CA – In a gated home in the exclusive coastal neighborhood of Newport Beach, a homeowner shot a suspected intruder on Tuesday morning, according to police. The incident occurred at a residence on Pelican Hill Road and Newport Coast Drive, prompting officers to respond to a 911 call around 4:45 a.m.
