The Miami police are hunting for a woman suspected of drugging a Floridian man and stealing jewelry worth hundreds of thousands. Surveillance footage in the elevator of the residence captured the woman’s movements.
The police have asked the public for assistance in recognizing the woman in the security footage. This incident happened around 5:30 a.m. on May 8, when the anonymous victim and the woman in question met at a bar called “Dirty Rabbit” in the city.
According to Officer Michael Vega from the Miami Police Department, the victim had drinks with the woman, and shortly after, he lost consciousness.
When the victim woke up at noon, the woman and the items she had stolen, including two Rolex watches, a gold chain, gold bracelets, Cartier sunglasses, and a diamond ring, were no longer present. The stolen items are estimated to be worth $600,000.
The woman had two Solo cups with her as she exited the elevator, which is believed to contain her DNA and the drug she used on her victim. In addition to the reward for any information that leads to her arrest, the police are offering a reward of $10,000.
The suspect is described as being around 5 feet 9 inches in height, weighing 140 pounds, and in her 30s with long black hair. Officer Vega is confident that someone will recognize the woman due to the clarity of the images.
The Miami police are working with the victim to bring the woman to justice, and the public’s help is necessary in identifying this woman and halting her criminal activities.
