LAS VEGAS, NV – In a horrifying incident that left the local community in shock, a man has been accused of brutally murdering another man at a bus stop near the Las Vegas Strip. The 29-year-old suspect, Colin Czech, now faces a charge of open murder. The shocking details of the crime were revealed in documents obtained by 8 News Now Investigators.
The incident took place just before 5 a.m. on Sunday when a witness called the police to report a man tackling another man to the ground on Las Vegas Boulevard near Charleston Boulevard. Approximately 45 minutes later, another person dialed emergency services to report a man at a bus stop who was “eating” the face of another man.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Czech kneeling next to the victim, with evidence of “biological matter” on his person and clothing. Czech allegedly claimed that the victim had attacked him. Tragically, the victim, identified as Kenneth Brown, was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead by a doctor. He had suffered a severe head injury, and documents reveal he was missing an eye and an ear.
While in police custody, Czech displayed signs of altered consciousness, stated the documents. He later told officers that he had been homeless and awake for five consecutive days due to something “possessing him.” Shockingly, Czech admitted to using his teeth to assault the victim, claiming that he had even eaten his eyeballs and ears.
The senseless and gruesome nature of this crime has left the community reeling.
