PHOENIX, AZ – A fatal shooting occurred early Saturday morning at a car wash in Phoenix, leaving one man dead. Police were alerted to the incident at around 5:30 a.m. in the vicinity of 44th Street and McDowell Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. The injured man was rushed to the hospital, but sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has not yet been identified, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to police, the shooting was the result of an altercation between the victim and an employee of a nearby business. The employee who was allegedly involved remained at the scene and was taken into custody. It is unclear whether the employee worked at the car wash or a different establishment nearby.
Investigators are actively conducting a probe to gather more information about the events leading up to the tragic incident.
