Over a month after the discovery of his body in a Georgia forest, the cause of death for TikTok personality Jiare Schneider has been confirmed. Schneider, 31, was reported missing 10 days before his body was found on November 26. Clayton County officials have now confirmed that Schneider died from injuries sustained in a car crash, ruling his death as accidental.
Schneider, known to his followers as @Big_Homie_TooTall on Instagram and TikTok, was first reported missing in mid-November. His disappearance occurred after a visit to a local strip club on November 15. His family discovered his body days later in a crashed silver Toyota 4Runner in the woods around 1 p.m.
Schneider’s friend, Germequa Bell, recounted the moment they found him, stating, “A group of us gathered, and we came out here, and we went to the woods … and there he was. We knew when he disappeared that something was up.” Schneider’s family had tipped off the police that his body might have been found.
Clayton County Police Department spokesperson Lt. Ricky Porter explained, “Our officers received a call from friends and family of Jiare Schneider, who’s been missing from Forest Park. Preliminary investigation suggests the vehicle traveled westbound across Brown Road, through overgrowth and into a tree at the rear of the property.”
The location where Schneider’s body was found is approximately 25 minutes away from his home. He was also a few hundred yards from a “content house” he reportedly visited earlier in the night. Schneider’s family became increasingly worried when he didn’t call his son for several days, which was unusual for him. Their concern escalated when Schneider failed to post any social media content on any of his profiles for over a week.
Following the discovery of his body, Schneider’s loved ones expressed their frustration with what they perceived as a lack of assistance from law enforcement. A family friend said, “Of course, [we’re] relieved that we found him, but still angry that we didn’t get the resources, the help that we were asking. His son, that’s all we can think about.”
