‘Mom Brawl’ at Disneyland Turns Violent

Anaheim, California – A disturbing incident unfolded at Disneyland in California where a group of mothers were caught on camera assaulting another woman, while two young children witnessed the violent scene. The incident, which took place on April 23, was captured in a video that was shared on Instagram.

The footage, posted by an Instagram user with the handle santaanaproblems, depicts at least five women, one of whom was pushing a baby stroller, attacking a woman who was lying on the ground. What makes the incident particularly distressing is the presence of two young children, a boy wearing red shorts and a girl dressed in a yellow princess gown, who watched the altercation unfold in confusion. The caption accompanying the video read, “Ghetto ass people @ Disney California adventure.”

The video concludes with the victim sitting up and the children being led away, while some of the attackers nonchalantly walk away from the scene. The motive behind the altercation remains unclear.

Disney officials have not yet provided a comment, but according to a spokesperson who spoke to the Los Angeles Times, the individuals involved in the fight were ejected from the park. The spokesperson emphasized that any form of violence is not tolerated at the theme park.

Although police arrived at the scene around 5 p.m. to assist Disneyland security, no arrests were made, as reported by Anaheim Police Sgt. Jon McClintock.

Incidents of family disputes at the popular amusement park being shared on social media are not new. Just last October, a video surfaced of a group of adults fighting near the Mad Tea Party ride, with at least five men and women involved in the brawl, nearly toppling a baby stroller at one point.

Similarly, back in 2019, a video went viral showing a family fight in front of Goofy’s Playhouse. The footage depicted a large man repeatedly assaulting a woman in the face in the presence of two young children in a stroller.

The safety and wellbeing of visitors at Disneyland is of utmost importance, and acts of violence are taken seriously. Disneyland continues to be a popular destination for families, but incidents like these serve as a reminder that disruptive behavior can occur anywhere.
