Plane Crashes into Two-Story House

On Sunday afternoon, a small Texas town witnessed a shocking scene when a plane crashed into a vacant two-story home in the 500-block of North Wood Drive in Georgetown.

All three aircraft passengers were taken to a local hospital, and the injuries appeared non-life threatening.

The Georgetown Fire Department took to Facebook to announce that the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will begin investigating the crash that afternoon. They also noted that crews would remain on the scene to assist.

The police urged residents to avoid the area, as a small portion of Northwest Boulevard would remain closed while they investigated the site more.

The NTSB and FAA both stepped in to investigate the crash.

In the wake of the crash, the hospital staff is monitoring the injured passengers to determine the full extent of their injuries. Such a strange occurrence has ruffled the feathers of the little Texas town as residents await the outcome of the investigation and hope to have a greater understanding of what exactly happened and to keep it from happening again.
