Reality TV Star Charged with Cutting Off Boyfriend’s Head

Tamika Sueann-Rose Chesser, a 34-year-old former contestant on the Australian reality show “Beauty and the Geek Australia,” has been arrested and charged with murder. The charges come after the discovery of the mutilated and burned body of her 39-year-old boyfriend, Julian Story, in a Port Lincoln apartment. The police made the gruesome discovery on June 17, following reports of a small fire in the residence.

Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke confirmed that the victim’s head had not been recovered, a fact that has added to the distress of Story’s family. The motive behind the brutal killing remains unclear. Fielke emphasized the importance of locating the missing head to provide closure for the family and allow them to lay their loved one to rest.

In addition to the murder charge, Chesser has been accused of disposing of human remains and assaulting a police officer. The police have released surveillance footage and images of a woman, believed to be Chesser, dressed in black and walking three dogs in the southern Australian city. The footage was captured just hours after the alleged murder, which is believed to have occurred around midnight on June 17.

Fielke has appealed to local residents to review any CCTV or dashcam footage they may have that could assist in the investigation. Chesser was found in the backyard of the crime scene in a state described as “catatonic and unresponsive,” according to court documents.

Chesser’s sister, Kiya-May, has spoken out in defense of her sibling, stating that the accused has faced a life of trauma and abuse that has affected her mental state. She insisted that her sister would never commit such a crime. Chesser, who was initially denied bail, is currently being held under a mental health detention order. She is expected to appear in court for a committal hearing in December.
