Toddler Found Carrying Over 4 Pounds of Cocaine

MOBILE, Alabama – A woman in Mobile, Alabama, has been arrested on charges of trafficking illegal narcotics after allegedly involving a 3-year-old child in her activities. Tierra Tocorra Hill, 35, was taken into custody and accused of multiple offenses, including cocaine trafficking, marijuana possession, evidence tampering, and child endangerment.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from a reliable source regarding Hill’s alleged involvement in drug trafficking. Acting on this information, investigators conducted surveillance outside Hill’s residence on Harvey Court. They subsequently observed her leaving the premises and initiated a traffic stop. During the search of her vehicle, authorities discovered over 3.3 pounds of cocaine, a small quantity of marijuana, and a handgun.

Following the traffic stop, a search warrant was executed at Hill’s home. To their shock, authorities found four children aged 3, 8, 10, and 15, left unattended. The most distressing discovery came when they encountered the 3-year-old child wearing a small Nike backpack. Inside the backpack, they allegedly found approximately 4.4 pounds of cocaine. Another backpack found at the scene contained a kilogram of cocaine and two handguns.

Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch condemned Hill’s actions, stating that she had put the children’s lives in jeopardy by leaving them alone in a house with dangerous weapons and drugs. Burch underscored the seriousness of the situation, emphasizing Hill’s complete disregard for the law and the well-being of the children involved.

The confiscated narcotics have an estimated street value of around $450,000. Sheriff Burch, in an interview with a local news station, expressed astonishment at the deliberate nature of Hill’s actions. He pointed out that a toddler carrying over $100,000 worth of cocaine was a clear indication that the child was not responsible for placing the drugs in the backpack.

Hill’s arrest underscores the serious nature of drug trafficking offenses and their potential impact on society. The involvement of a young child in such activities is particularly distressing, and law enforcement agencies are committed to holding individuals accountable for endangering the lives of innocent children. As the investigation progresses, authorities will undoubtedly pursue justice for those affected by this alleged drug trafficking scheme.

Tierra Tocorra Hill now faces multiple charges related to drug trafficking and endangering a child. The investigation is ongoing.
