Philadelphia, PA – A woman has tragically lost her life in a devastating incident outside Xfinity Live!, a popular sports bar located in the Philadelphia sports complex. The 48-year-old woman was found hanging from an iron gate early Saturday morning. She sustained injuries consistent with the gate and currently there are no indications of foul play or other traumatic injuries.
The woman was discovered at approximately 2 a.m., having been impaled through the leg and left hanging for up to five hours before she was found and removed from the gate.
Emergency services swiftly transported her to a nearby hospital, where she was sadly pronounced dead.
Xfinity Live! is a popular spot for Philadelphia sports fans, often serving as the pregame and postgame hangout for events at neighboring stadiums. The Philadelphia Police Department is currently investigating the incident to determine the exact circumstances.
