Woman’s Body Found Drained of Blood in Abandoned Church

A young French woman, dressed in a haunting manner reminiscent of a vampire, was found dead in a deserted church in Italy’s Aosta Valley. The body of 22-year-old Auriane Nathalie Laisne, from Saint-Priest near Lyon, was discovered by a hiker in a fetal position, soaked in blood from multiple stab and gunshot wounds. Local officials suspect her boyfriend, Teima Sohaib, of murdering her in what they are labeling a “classic femicide”.

Laisne had previously filed a domestic violence case against Sohaib, resulting in a restraining order that kept him away from her. Now, authorities are considering the possibility that her death might be linked to a popular ghost-hunting challenge on TikTok that has gained traction in France. A murder investigation has been launched in Grenoble, where Laisne and Sohaib resided.

Investigations also indicate the possibility of Laisne’s death being a “consented murder” or some form of sacrifice, given the condition her body was found in. Medical examiner Roberto Testi and local police report that Laisne was stabbed with a camping knife, then bled to death before being shot post-mortem.

Laisne’s body was discovered near a bag of pink marshmallows and other grocery items. The crime scene had been meticulously cleaned of her blood, and there were no signs of struggle. Sohaib was arrested in Lyon a few days after the discovery of Laisne’s body. The couple was believed to be on a European tour and had inquired about abandoned villages where they could camp. The church where the body was found is not a popular tourist spot and is relatively unknown even to locals.

The investigation into this horrifying murder continues as authorities search for answers, hoping to bring justice to the victim and shed light on the circumstances surrounding her tragic end.
