Young Woman Beaten to Death by Her Manager

A devastating event has left a family grappling with grief after a young woman was brutally attacked at a convenience store in Hollywood. Jessica McLaughlin, a 24-year-old assistant manager at a local 7-Eleven, was assaulted by her supervisor during her shift last week. Now on life support, her family is struggling to process the horrific incident and is seeking justice.

Jessica’s father, Clancy McLaughlin, described his daughter as a compassionate individual who always put her family first and was quick to help those less fortunate. He affectionately referred to her as his “green-haired warrior,” a nod to her spirit of generosity, which included feeding the homeless and donating clothes to those in need.

The violent assault occurred last Tuesday as Jessica was finishing her workday. Her father shared the terrifying details of the attack, stating that the supervisor grabbed Jessica by her hair and violently threw her to the ground. Witnesses reported that the attacker then sat on Jessica’s chest and continued the assault.

A co-worker attempted to intervene, but the supervisor reportedly directed his aggression towards them as well. Amid the chaos, Jessica managed to get up and begged for someone to call 911, stating that she was having difficulty breathing. Tragically, she collapsed shortly after.

Police arrived at the scene and are currently searching for the suspect. Clancy McLaughlin revealed that the attacker attempted to delete security footage of the incident before fleeing.

The McLaughlin family is preparing for a heartbreaking goodbye on Wednesday when they plan to take Jessica off life support. Clancy expressed his hope to gather as many people as possible at the hospital to bid their final goodbyes.

A GoFundMe page has been established to assist with funeral costs, and the family is urging anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward. As the investigation continues, the community is rallying around the McLaughlin family, offering support during this devastating time.
