(TheDailyHorn.com) – It seems of late all is quiet regarding the investigation of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Things are starting to heat up, however, and it’s turning dangerous for Cuomo.
On Wednesday, June 30, a New York Assembly panel said it is preparing to issue subpoenas. The legislature is in the process of deciding whether or not it will impeach the embattled governor.

Cuomo is accused of a series of crimes and misdeeds. Investigators are looking into allegations of sexual harassment and his handling of nursing home deaths in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cuomo claims he did nothing wrong in either case. However, the governor did apologize for interacting with women in a manner that could be construed as insensitive, personal, or discomforting. The law firm hired by the state legislature said they’ve accumulated over 100,000 emails, texts, letters, pictures, personal records, and other documents concerning the impeachment proceeding.
In addition to Cuomo’s problems with the legislature and state attorney general, the federal government is also investigating whether his family and close friends benefited unfairly from the state’s COVID-19 testing program early in the pandemic.
