Decapitated Body Found in San Antonio Home

Texas police officers made a gruesome discovery in a San Antonio residence, where they found a decapitated body in the living room and the severed head in the bathroom. The shocking find was reported by local media, who cited an arrest affidavit.

The San Antonio police were alerted to a suspicious individual peering into parked cars around 10:15 p.m. on a Friday. Upon arrival, officers encountered 35-year-old Bradley Adam Dimmick. Dimmick reportedly confessed to the officers, stating, “I just killed somebody.” He further claimed to have killed a person named “Dimmick” in a house approximately a mile away.

Following Dimmick’s directions, the police arrived at the house and were met with a bloody scene right at the entrance. Inside, they discovered a deceased dog near the front door. Further into the house, in the living room, they found a decapitated body. The victim was later identified as 65-year-old Keith Dimmick, who had a large stomach wound with his intestines protruding. The dog had suffered similar injuries.

The police followed a trail of dried blood, which led them to the severed head in the bathtub. The house was equipped with three surveillance cameras, one of which was directed towards Keith Dimmick’s body. The exact time of the homicide remains unclear, but detectives found missed notifications on Keith Dimmick’s cell phone dating back to 9:19 a.m. on October 13.

While the relationship between Bradley and Keith Dimmick was not specified in the affidavit, Bradley’s listed address was the same as the crime scene. Court records indicate that Bradley Dimmick is now facing charges of first-degree murder and animal cruelty. He is currently held at the Bexar County Jail with a bond set at $1.5 million.
