Hollywood Makeup Artist Stabbed Multiple Times in Brutal Attack

LOS ANGELES, CA — A Hollywood makeup artist, known for her work on various films including “Rebel Moon” and the upcoming “Mean Girls” reboot, is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after being brutally stabbed by her ex-boyfriend at her Los Angeles home, according to friends and authorities.

Allie Shehorn, 35, was allegedly stabbed 20 times by her ex-boyfriend on May 23, before he fled the scene, reported CW affiliate KTLA. Shehorn had previously obtained a restraining order against her attacker.

Christine White, who has acted as a mother figure to Shehorn, was present in the home during the violent incident. She described the aftermath as a “not pretty sight,” but credited her quick actions with saving Shehorn’s life.

The ex-boyfriend was apprehended in Texas while attempting to cross the border into Mexico, according to Jed Dornoff, one of the organizers of a GoFundMe page set up to support Shehorn’s recovery.

Shehorn, a highly regarded makeup artist with over 70 films to her credit, is currently improving in the ICU after undergoing multiple surgeries. Friends report that she is now able to eat and speak on her own.

The attack came as a shock to those who knew Shehorn and her ex-boyfriend. Dornoff, who knew both parties, expressed surprise at the violent turn of events, recounting their seemingly stable relationship that had started on the set of “Rebel Moon.”

Shehorn’s friends and supporters are hopeful for her continued recovery, emphasizing her remarkable personality and the love she exudes.
