Superstar Justin Timberlake Arrested in the Hamptons

Sag Harbor, NY – Pop star Justin Timberlake has been arrested for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, a prestigious vacation destination in the Hamptons. The 43-year-old singer was taken into custody in Long Island on Tuesday morning, June 18, according to a representative from the Sag Harbor Police Department.

Although the police have yet to release an official statement confirming the charges, sources indicate that Timberlake was arrested for DWI after enjoying dinner at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor.

Hours after his arraignment and release from police custody, Timberlake’s mugshot was made public. The former *NSYNC member was arrested in the early morning hours of June 18 after failing to stop at a stop sign.

According to the police report, Timberlake exhibited signs of impairment during the arrest, including bloodshot and glassy eyes, a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, slowed speech, and unsteadiness on his feet. The report also notes that Timberlake claimed to have consumed only one martini and refused a breathalyzer test.

Details about the arrest reveal that Timberlake was driving a 2025 BMW when he failed to stop at a stop sign, prompting a police officer to pull him over. The Sag Harbor Village Police Department press release states that Timberlake was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested, processed, and held overnight before his arraignment at the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on June 18. Timberlake was then released on his own recognizance.

Interestingly, Timberlake’s arrest coincided with his wife, Jessica Biel, filming her new series in New York City. The actress was on set in Central Park the day before her husband’s arrest. Biel, 42, is working alongside Elizabeth Banks in the Prime Video series “The Better Sister,” based on Alafair Burke’s novel. The show follows the story of two sisters and a murder investigation that unveils long-held secrets.

Timberlake, who appeared in court for his arraignment in casual attire, was accompanied by his attorney and two other individuals. He will not be required to return to court until July. The singer’s arrest took place while he was reportedly en route to a friend’s house after dining at the popular American Hotel in Sag Harbor.

Timberlake’s arrest on DWI charges comes in the midst of his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour, with two upcoming performances scheduled in New York City next week.
