Are You Ready To Spruce Up Your Office? Here’s Some Viral Inspiration

(TheDailyHorn.com) – State governments locked down citizens to protect them from a new and unknown COVID-19 virus when the pandemic hit in March 2020. With nothing to do at home and most businesses shut down for several months, some people took to Netflix and other streaming apps. Many others got into the do-it-yourself (DIY) home renovation craze. What else was there to do, and why not make the space you’re stuck in better, especially if you couldn’t go anywhere for any period of time?

One home office DIY project got the attention of thousands of Reddit users. On Tuesday, April 26, the office renovation project garnered 49,000 upvotes and over 1,700 comments. User u/Carley536 showed the before-and-after picture of the office, highlighting the phenomenal upgrade. The homeowner renovated her home office from a standard black-and-white room with a stationary bike to an amazing workplace that highlighted a faux brick wall, a beautiful wood ceiling, and a cozy couch with a cute kitty.

According to the statistical tracking website Statista, approximately 76% of Americans made at least one home improvement in 2020. The popular website said 12% upgraded their internet speeds, 11% planned to upgrade a home office, 9% wanted to add a home gym, and 8% wanted an outdoor pool.
