White House Press Secretary Snaps at Harris Question

(TheDailyHorn.com) – Every day, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki goes before the national media to answer questions on behalf of the administration. It appears she has a problem with those who ask difficult questions. At times, Psaki can be sarcastic and even snarky.

That seemed to be the case on Wednesday, April 7, when a New York Post reporter asked Psaki about Vice President Kamala Harris’s actual role in terms of the border crisis. Last month, President Biden appointed Harris to the lead role on the immigration “challenge,” as they prefer to call it. Specifically, the reporter asked if she was taking a back seat, as it appeared Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas was taking over and pursuing some of former President Trump’s immigration policies.

Psaki replied that Harris was in Chicago addressing COVID vaccines. She shot back that Harris was getting a “snack,” sarcastically adding, “I think she’s allowed to do that.”

If nothing else, the Press Secretary’s daily briefing is amusing, if not always informative.
