(TheDailyHorn.com) – In September, President Joe Biden instructed the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to write a regulation forcing companies with over 100 employees to get vaccinated or tested weekly for COVID-19. On Thursday, October 4, the Biden administration announced the rule would go into effect on January 4. Almost immediately, numerous GOP-led states and businesses filed a lawsuit against the administration to stop the implementation of the law.

On Thursday afternoon, #DoNotComply trended on Twitter as people expressed their displeasure with the vaccine mandate. As the trend gained momentum, The Daily Wire announced a legal challenge to the mandate on private businesses. Daily Wire co-founder and co-CEO Jeremy Boreing called the mandate tyrannical and said the company, which has over 100 employees, will not comply.
Questions are swirling as to how OSHA will enforce its rule. The agency only boasts an inspector workforce of 1,850 people who are responsible for the workplace safety of 130 million workers. If courts allow the mandate to go through, it will impact 84 million private-sector workers. Companies that don’t comply and get caught could face up to $14,000 in fines per incident.
