Milwaukee, Wisconsin – A man was taken into custody after a severed leg was discovered in Warnimont Park in Cudahy, Wisconsin on April 2. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a person of interest, leading to the launch of a homicide investigation. While the man’s identity remains undisclosed, neighbors reported a raid on a local residence. Authorities are collaborating with the Cudahy Police Department and the FBI to solve the case.
Following the discovery of a severed leg in Warnimont Park, law enforcement carried out an operation at a residence on Milwaukee’s south side. Neighbors expressed their unease as they witnessed numerous officials entering and exiting the property, as well as the removal of bags. The primary concern lies in the hope that there are no further incidents linked to the case.
The MCSO and the Wisconsin Department of Justice were present during the operation, with their firearms aimed at the house. The extensive search conducted by officials lasted over 24 hours. Furthermore, the dogs found at the residence are now being cared for by the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission.
