Toddler Found Dead in Alligator’s Mouth After Mother Was Found Dead in Apartment

The tragic news of the discovery of the body of two-year-old Taylen Mosley was confirmed by St. Petersburg Police Chief Holloway on Friday, who expressed his condolences to the family.

The child, whose mother, 20-year-old Pashun Jeffrey, was discovered dead in their St. Petersburg, Florida home in a vicious attack that police described as “very violent.” The St. Petersburg Police Department was called to the scene at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30th, and were horrified to find Jeffrey dead with the tot nowhere in sight.

The St. Petersburg Police Department launched a major search for the missing child using all their resources and assistance from local, state, and federal agencies, including the FBI and FDLE.

After an extensive search, officers were alerted to an alligator that was seen with something in its mouth. The alligator was killed, and the body was identified as belonging to Taylen Mosley. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

Additionally, Chief Holloway announced the arrest of Taylen’s father, Thomas Mosley, who has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder for the death of Pashun Jeffery and his son.
