(TheDailyHorn.com) – Rolling to Remember is an outdoor event held by American Veterans that’s been happening for 30 years. It is a Memorial Day weekend tradition in Washington DC to honor and remember the country’s veterans and raise awareness about issues affecting the military community.
However, it won’t go ahead as planned this year since the Pentagon revoked the permit to use its parking lot where an essential part of the gathering occurs. It cited concerns over Covid-19 as the reason for the decision.
Last I checked veterans parades on motorcycles are OUTDOORS! Come to #Florida @RollToRemember since the Biden admin won’t follow it’s own CDC. https://t.co/mv5uI2wQXw

Media outlets reported widespread difficulty understanding the Pentagon’s sudden reversal this close to the event. It previously approved the permit in March, and the CDC has recently updated hold events outdoors because they are safer than ones held in confined spaces.
What’s even more confusing is that President Joe Biden just held an outdoor political rally in Georgia. Why couldn’t guidelines be put in place for Rolling to Remember like they were for that event?
We may never know the truth behind the motivation for this decision. So far, Biden officials won’t talk with anyone about it despite receiving numerous requests from event organizers and members of Congress.
